Each project begins with a particular condition and becomes a way to meet it—through form, material, movement and shared experience.
Open a project to explore01Inward Perspectives
Site-specific works

The inquiry
How can a structure bring us into an active, changing relationship with an expansive meadow and mountain environment—making the setting newly perceptible with every approach?
The form
A 16-foot outer steel cube contains a sequence of precisely dimensioned inner cubes, all sharing a common edge. As alignment shifts with the viewer’s position, the work continually reframes the meadow, mountains and sky.
The encounter
From the valley road, across the field, and within the climbable structure, Inward Perspectives changes with every angle of approach—repositioning the viewer in relation to the landscape and to their own self within it.
02Brouillard Vineyards
Spatial & experiential design

The inquiry
One brand. Two distinct vineyard concepts. A spatial and experiential framework for how each property and label can be encountered on its own terms.
The form
A conceptual design brief organizing movement, arrival, views, structures, material language and programmed moments across both properties.
The encounter
The work begins before construction: a shared way of seeing the land, then a sequence of experiences built around its different rhythms and possibilities.
03Amphitheater
Experiential environment

The inquiry
How can structure, activation and nature become one cohesive environment—supporting intimate daily curriculum and large community events while maximizing and celebrating both experience and place?
The form
The site was shaped from the ground up: its building placement, elevations, sightlines and connection to the Culinary Center establish a continuous relationship between architecture and the surrounding property. Earth-formed terraces and concrete seating embed the amphitheater in the terrain, foregrounding both what happens within it and the nature around it.
The encounter
A choreographed entry gives way to a broad reveal of the amphitheater and the expansive nature beyond. As the property’s primary event space, it supports intimate daily curriculum, programmed activations and larger community events—making each visit inseparable from the experience of the property.
04What Happens Later
Sculptural set design

The inquiry
Using sculptural presence to help tell story.
The form
Twelve mixed-media sculptures created for What Happens Later, integrated throughout the film’s set design.
The encounter
An uncommon use of sculpture in film: each work elevated the visual world of the sets while offering subtle emphasis to the narrative. Their placement, form, and presence shifted in response to character connection and emotion.
05Parabolic Cube
Site-specific works

The inquiry
Made for a meeting point of public paths within a growing housing development, Parabolic Cube asks how movement through a shared setting can continually reshape what is seen.
The form
A 9-foot stainless-steel cube is composed entirely of straight lines that generate a parabolic field—producing precise curves and a form that shifts with every angle of view.
The encounter
Bike and pedestrian paths arrive from all directions and intersect at the sculpture. Moving around it produces a 360-degree experience: the form continuously changes to the naked eye, drawing attention to one’s position and the paths shared with others.
06University of Health & Performance
Spatial design

The inquiry
How can infrastructure, curriculum and landscape work together to shape the experience of an entire campus?
The form
An experiential masterplan for an 800-acre campus integrating infrastructure, circulation, architecture and curriculum-driven activation across the landscape. The work included property entrance strategy, roadway mapping, structure orientation and the placement of purpose-built gathering and activation spaces.
The encounter
The campus unfolds as a connected journey between living, learning, training, gathering and the surrounding landscape. Daily movement and curriculum are supported alongside larger community activations, creating a framework that allows the property to function at multiple scales while maintaining a cohesive experience.
07SPACE
Experiential environment

The inquiry
How can space support vulnerability, connection and personal exchange?
The form
A sunken circular gathering space shaped around a nightly ceremony within the UHP curriculum. Angled earth walls hold the space, circular seating connects the group, and a central fireplace establishes a shared focal point. Sized precisely for one class of 44.
The encounter
Each evening, one member of the class shares their personal story. The gradual descent marks entry into a distinct experience; the enclosed form creates intimacy while maintaining connection across the circle. Fire signals the beginning of the ceremony and provides a common point of focus as experiences rarely shared are brought into the open.
08LINE
Experiential environment

The inquiry
How can a progressive freestyle environment maximize flight and performance while working in relationship with the surrounding landscape?
The form
A purpose-built jump line designed to maximize the number and variety of features within a concentrated footprint. Jumps, transitions and viewing positions were composed together with the surrounding environment to create a complete setting for riding, spectating and documentation.
The encounter
Designed for a video and photo shoot featuring YT Industries’ world-class athletes. The consolidated line created a dynamic sequence of air, style and performance while providing intentional vantage points from which each could be witnessed and captured.
